2008 Tulsa Naturals Review!

June 14th, the second annual Tulsa Naturals took place at the Thoreau Demonstration Academy. The show increased by 33% and the crowd was energized with guest poser WNBF Pro Robert Johnson.

June 14th the second annual Tulsa Naturals took place at the Thoreau Demonstration Academy. The show increased by 33% and the crowd was energized with guest poser WNBF Pro Robert Johnson. After the opening ceremonies the stage was lit up with a very competitive figure competition. The Beginner Figure was dazzled by first place winner Kristina Brunner and in second was the precious Jan Bonewell. Both were first to the stage in this category but were coached very well.

The Novice Figure was dominated by first place winner Kristina Brunner with a close second of Jan Bonwell. In third was the cut physique of Shari Engert. In fourth was muscular and graceful Janet Maloskie and in fifth was a very graceful Channa Clemens.

The Master 40+ figure was won by Janet Maloskie. In second was dazzling Debra Oden and in third was Mary Kerr. In the Open Figure Short division, Jamie Butlers grace and poise not to mention cuts took the stage in first place. In second was the graceful Elizabeth Young. In third was Shari Engert. Fourth place was Debra Oden (1191) and in fifth was Mary Kerr.

In the Open Figure Tall division, Kristina Brunner walked away with the first place and the Overall Figure. In second was Janet Maloskie. Third was fit and poised Dana Maney. In fourth was Channa Clemens. Ms.Oklahoma Figure was won by Jamie Butler and in second was Mary Kerr.

Mixed Pairs routine with Don High and Elizabeth Young took the first place and did a beautiful routine to "Keep Your hands to Yourself".

Teen Men

The Teen Men were represented by two football athletes from Collinsville, Ok. In first was nicely diced Kaleb Hamilton. Steven G. Majike muscularity took second. In the Collegiate Don High placed first. Nice quad separation and abdominal cuts were very evident.

Submaster's Division

In the Submasters Women division Debra Oden rocked in with a first place with nice shoulders and great symmetry. Heather Driskill took second. Debra Oden went on to win the Womens Novice Division as well.

The Submasters Men was dominated by Michael Blunt. Mike had great symmetry and a nice, wide back. James Shatzer's lean physique placed second. In third was Sean Linhoff's nice definition. Mike had great symmetry and a nice, wide back. James Shatzer's lean physique placed second. In third was Sean Linhoff's nice definition.

Master's Men

The Master's Men was one of the most competitive categories. In first was Kelly Nissen, great muscle bellies and symmetry. In second was Don High. Third was Morgan Edwards nice symmetry and great stage presence. In fourth was David Schulte, very diced up. Fifth was muscular Steven J. Majike.

The Grand Masters was won by Ross Kerschner with very well developed muscle bellies and shredded physique. And this gave the 40+ Master division a run for their money as Ross won that division as well. In second was the nice muscularity of Don High. In third was Morgan Edwards and in fourth was Steven J. Majike.

The Novice Men was taken over by Thomas Stover. Tom had incredibile symmetry and a nice lean physique with great abs. In second was James Shatzer. Third was Morgan Edwards and in fourth was shredded David Schulte. In fifth was Sean Linhoff.

The Open Men's Short division was stomped by Michael Blunt. In second was James Shatzer. Don High took a close third. In fourth was Morgan Edwards.

The Open Men's Tall division was cleared out by the first place and overall winner Shane Butler. Shane had incredible lines and nice development with overall leanness. In second was James Dalton III that dazzled his way right to the Best Poser Routine. In third was Ross Kerschner.

In the Open Women, Liz Young's nice shape and muscularity won the division and also went on to win best poser with advanced prop usage on a cupcake routine. Heather Driskill's physique placed second.

Mr. Oklahoma was taken by Shane Butler. In seoncd was Kelly Nissen. Third was Ross Kerschner and in fourth was Steven J. Majike. Steven J. Majike and David Schulte both were recipients of this years Spirit Award. The Sprit Award is given to those recognized for supporting Natural Bodybuilding and going the extra mile to do so as well as support the Tulsa show.
