Contest Review
This years Upper O was one of the best in the shows story. The Upper Ohio Valley is the oldest NPC event in West Virginia. In its 20th year the show features: Men’s and women’ bodybuilding masters men over 40 and over 50, Master women bodybuilding, fitness, Figure and masters figure.
The Competitors:
Seventy-one athletes took part in this years National Qualifier and the quality was spectacular. The 412 fans at the pre-judging is the largest morning crowd ever. The crowd was treated to IFBB Figure Pro Valerie Waugaman. Valerie representing Bodybuilding.com presented the shows figure awards.
New Divisions For 2007:
The classes added to this years event: Two classes in the masters over forty men and a masters forty overall. Masters men over 60 years. Three classes of novice bodybuilding and a novice overall. Two classes of fitness, and a fitness overall, four classes of figure, three classes of master figure and a masters figure overall, two classes of master women bodybuilding.
We also added the welter weight class. Our men’s and women’s bodybuilding has every weight class needed to qualify for any national N.P.C. event.
