Contest Review

The 2007 NPC NJ State Championships was a very special event this year. Combined with the Health & Fitness Expo, Pat Grieco & John Kemper brought New Jersey to a whole different level. The show was held at the incredible, new Franklin High School in Somerset complete with a state-of-the-art auditorium and all the amenities a competitor or spectator could ask for.

Over 20 vendors participated in this event, showcasing their products and services in the atrium. It was a fun-filled day for all who attended!

-> Top Notch Competitors:

    The competitors were all top notch and did a fantastic job. Each and every one should be commended for their hard work and dedication it took to be on stage that day. The bodybuilders were tremendous as were the fitness and figure women! Each competitor was awarded a medallion as well as a competitor bag with official t-shirt and more goodies inside. Knowing the athletes were anxious to start eating, pizza was backstage for them to enjoy!

-> Competitor Meeting:

    One of the sponsors, Douglas J. Spiel, M.D. gave a brief presentation to the athletes during the competitor meeting. He is a wonderful physician who is well versed in sports injuries. It is safe to say he had a captive audience!

-> Guest Posers:

    The evening was made even more exciting by the guest posers, IFBB Pro Desmond Miller, NPC Jr National Champion Evan Centopani and NPC NJ State Champion Sean Jones. These guys looked amazing and put on a great routine. We wish them the success in their future endeavors.
