Jay has always been used to hard work, having started out in the concrete construction business when he was 11. He has carried on this work ethic, and it's part of the reason that he finds himself finishing at the top in many IFBB pro contests.
His rigorous workouts, often lasting four hours per day during contest season, leave him in a top-notch condition that is arguably among the best on the pro circuit. With his recent string of victories and newly acquired title of Mr. Olympia has given him the confidence needed to continue his winning streak and stay on top.
For those of you who don't know who Toney Freeman is, let me give you a little background. Coming out of nowhere at the 2002 Nationals, Toney easily won the Super-heavyweight and Overall title, beating out top amateurs like Dave Palumbo and Mat Duvall. At a height of 6'2", Toney won the show at a bodyweight of only 250 lbs! Kinda scrawny for a guy who's 6'2", huh? Perhaps, until one realizes that Toney competed at that show with a 30" waist.
The x-man has many amazing bodybuilding accomplishments under his belt already. His unmatched size and symmetry has proven to lead him down this seemingly endless road of victories in the sport of bodybuilding.
Trey is an up and coming star who is quickly evolving into an icon with early accomplishments such as the 2006 NPC Excalibur super heavyweight and overall winner.
Brewer, who is 5’11” and weighs 310 lbs in the off season and just competed at a ripped 260 lbs, will take a year off from competition to grow in preparation for the 2008 season where he will focus on securing his pro card and quickly skyrocketing through the pro ranks. When Tanji Johnson stands on stage to present her physique to the world, she emanates the pride of what her body represents: hard work, endless sacrifices, determination, and a work of art. Tanji makes a different statement with her aura. It sounds romantic, but if you ask most fitness competitors, they will agree that the preparation and growth is a very intimate experience.
A driving passion to be the sport's top female competitor has kept the popular Dayana Cadeau training and competing in bodybuilding for over 16 years. After winning the Quebec City Bodybuilding Championships in 1992 - her first ever show - Dayana set about improving her physique to a level where she would be helping to set the standard for up and coming female competitors the world over.
What possibly separates Dayana from her competition is her insistence on beauty over extreme muscle size. She feels a women's beauty should also be reflected in her physique. Dayana has this beauty according to many.
After four tries, in 1998, I won my first Fitness Olympia and made number 45 on covers of magazines, books, and calendars worldwide. I have had a wonderful time traveling across the country and internationally, and have met some really incredible people everywhere. I feel very blessed and fortunate to be able to do what I enjoy: staying fit, encouraging others, and teaching what I have learned.
Jamie's interest in training was first peaked in college. She took weight training for a Kinesiology credit and enjoyed challenging her body to reach new levels. It was empowering to realize the strength she had in such a tiny little body.
She tried out to become a Houston Texans NFL Cheerleader, on a whim, and made the team. That got her back in the gym doing light weights.
Prior to becoming a full time MMA fighter, Franklin was a math teacher at Oak Hills High School in Cincinnati. He has a master's degree in education and a bachelor's degree in mathematics from the University of Cincinnati. At UFC 68 on March 3, 2007, Franklin defeated Jason "The Athlete" Macdonald by TKO due to MacDonald's corner throwing in the towel in the break between rounds 2 and 3. Franklin had mounted MacDonald in the closing seconds of the second round, causing signifcant injury and swelling around MacDonald's left eye.
MacDonald's corner advised ending the fight, and Franklin was declared the winner. After the fight Franklin called Anderson Silva to the ring, and said that he and Dana White had agreed to a fight for the title in Rich's hometown. The timing of this match may be a while, due to other contractual obligations by Silva.

Located in Denver, Colorado, the Lift Studios emphasis is on Sports, Fitness & Health-related clients. While this is their emphasis, it isn't their sole focus. Jesse had aspirations of becoming the strongest man in the world, He left the football field and began competing in the sport of Strongman.
Within one year, Jesse became the youngest American, at age 22, to ever qualify for the World's Strongest Man contest on ESPN. He placed 2nd at the 2006 Iron Man event.
Corey is the owner of SSF ( St.Clair Strength and Fitness ) here in Boise. He is a Pro strongman and powerlifter who has competed for close to 5 years in strength athletics. Corey will attempt to break the Idaho Farmer Carry Strongman record.
Cory has the perfect genetics and physique for competing in stronman contests being 6'5" and around 300lbs. His arms are around 20" around and his explosive powerlifting skills go to show it.
Laura Mak and Groove Attack Dancers have been dancing for five years now and have three Fitness Olympia appearances as well as numerous other fitness trade shows. They are a hip hop troupe with a fitness flair.
The team is comprised of former NBA, NFL, and IFBB Pro Dancers from all across the country. Performing this weekend, Laura Mak, Jonsie, and Jada.
Priscilla is the 2x IPF Open World champion and is also the first female of any American IPF to open with a 500+ pound deadlift.
