The 2006 Southern Isles Bodybuilding and Figure Championships, promoted by Tony and Mary Ann O'Connor, was held July 22 at Armstrong Atlantic State University in the beautiful historic city of Savannah, GA.
History was made with a record number of competitors and spectators. The field of athletes came from Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, and North Carolina competing in 9 divisions. (Teen, Novice, Master Men over 40 and 50, Master Women over 30 and 40, Figure, Open Women and Open Men Bodybuilding)
Niels Andersen sculpted trophies were awarded to all divisions. Co-Promoter and Bodybuilding.com Over 40 Amateur Of The Week Tony O'Connor was the guest poser.
