Contest Review

This is one of the fastest growing shows in the Mid - Atlantic zone of the NPC. This was the third annual show and had 61 athletes from eight different states. The West Virginia States is a closed show to West Virginia athletes only and features Men's and Women's bodybuilding.

The Mid Atlantic Grand Prix is open to any athlete in America and features Men's, Women's, Teenage, Junior, Masters Men over 40 and 50 bodybuilding, Masters Women over 35 bodybuilding, Novice bodybuilding, Teen fitness and teen figure as well as open fitness and figure. We also have a Masters Figure class.

Both of the Shows are National Qualifiers with awards going to the top five in every class. We also award a team trophy as well as a best poser trophy. The shows are held at John Marshall High School In Wheeling West Virginia.

This years Guest Poser was Erik Fankhouser. This soon to be pro just came off a forth place finish in the heavy weight division at the North American Championship the week before. Needless to say" The House" was in great shape.
