ELIGIBILITY/BODYBUILDERS:
Open to any NPC athlete. (2006 NPC cards will be available for $75.) Masters competitors must have reached the age of 35/40/45 the day of the contest. Proof of age required. NO CROSSOVERS: Contestants may NOT enter more than one division.
AWARDS/BODYBUILDERS:
Men's/Women's Open: 1st-5th in each weight class. Men's Masters 35-40, 40-45, 45 and over: 1st -5th one class each. A Team Trophy will be awarded to the highest scoring team. ($20 fee per team is required.) Overall Men's and Women's Champions receive an overall award. Overall Men's and Women's Bodybuilding winners receive up to $200 toward travel reimbursement to the 2006 Jr. Nationals in Chicago with proof of travel expenses!

RULES/BODYBUILDERS:
This contest is NPC sanctioned and will run in accordance with the most recent NPC rules and procedures. All bodybuilding competitors will be weighed in wearing their posing suit THURSDAY NIGHT or FRIDAY MORNING. All decisions are final. NOTE: Only the top 5 will perform their routine at the Sat. evening Finals, but all competitors will be introduced onstage in their respective classes.
BACKSTAGE:
NEW! NO Backstage Passes for assistants or trainers. Only competitors will be permitted backstage. Assistance will be provided to prepare all competitors.
MUSIC/BODYBUILDERS:
Contestants will use their own music for the finals, prerecorded on a quality cassette tape and CUED TO YOUR STARTING POINT. BRING TAPE TO CHECK-IN! IF A CD IS USED, IT MUST BE CUSTOM BURNED WITH ONLY 60 SEC. POSING SONG ON CD. Only the TOP FIVE in each weight/age class will perform their routine Saturday night. Posing Routine Time Limit: 60 sec. All competitors will be introduced at the night show.

2006 NPC VYOTECH SHAWN RAY COLORADO PRO/AM WOMEN'S FIGURE CHAMPIONSHIPS
GENERAL CONTEST INFORMATION
1. Each contestant must be a current member of the NPC, (2006 NPC cards will be available for $75) Entry Fee: $50 if postmarked by May 1, 2006, $90 for entries postmarked after May 1, 2006. (Complete the entry form BELOW.) 2. Contestants must wear high heels in the swimsuit rounds and tennis/athletic shoes in the fitness round. 3. Jewelry may be worn in the swimsuit rounds. 4.Thong swimsuits will not be allowed. Tights must be worn under thong in fitness round. 5. Exhibition of poor sportsmanship will be grounds for automatic disqualification. 6. NO Backstage Passes for assistants or trainers. Only competitors will be permitted backstage. Assistance will be provided to prepare all competitors. 7. Contestant check-in: 6:00 pm THURSDAY NIGHT, MAY 11, AT HOST HOTEL-Adams Mark Hotel, Downtown Denver. Late Check-In Friday 7-9 am at Adams Mark Hotel.
Sat. Prejudging meeting at Colorado Convention Center Lecture Hall at 7:30 a.m., Prejudging begins at 9:00a.m., and Evening show at 5 p.m.8. All contestants must bring all suits to be worn in competition to the Contestant Check-In for suit inspection by a show official.
PUBLICITY AND AWARDS:
The top 5 winners in each of the FOUR height classses for FIGURE, (5'2" and under, over 5'2" - 5'4", over 5'4" - 5'6", and over 5'6"), will receive Neils Anderson Figure Sculptures. No money prizes may be given at the amateur level. (Competing for cash prizes nullifies amateur status in the NPC.) This show is an NPC national qualifier. Overall Women's FIGURE winner receives up to $200 toward travel reimbursement to the 2006 Jr. Nationals in Chicago with proof of travel expenses!
JUDGING PROCEDURES:
The contestants will be brought out in 1 or 2 lines for the quarter turns in a 2-PIECE SWIMSUIT. (Do not twist-look straight ahead.)The judges will be scoring the physique by assessing overall muscle tone with shapely lines, overall firmness and a small degree of muscularity with separation, no visible striations and no excessive leanness along with a full general assessment including healthy appearance, face, makeup and skin tone. Elimination rounds may be necessary in this round, depending on the number of competitors.
ROUND 2/FINAL ASSESSMENT
The Athlete will be brought back out in their original line in a 1-PIECE SWIMSUIT. At this time judges may ask for certain contestants to be placed next to other contestants. Then the quarter turns will be directed so the judges can make any final comparisons they wish.
SCORING
Each round is judged separately, and scores are turned in after each round.
EVENING PERFORMANCE
All contestants will be introduced at the evening event in their swimsuits. (Please detach)

In consideration of acceptance of this entry form and fee, I hereby waive and release all rights and claims for damages against the City of Denver, NPC, VYOTECH, Shawn Ray, Jeff Taylor/LifeSports and their officials, agents, assigns, and associated bodies, by reason of injury or damages I might incur at or traveling to or from this competition. And in further consideration of permission being granted to me to participate in this event, I hereby grant you, JEFF TAYLOR/LIFESPORTS/COLORADO PRO SHOW/VYOTECH/SHAWWN RAY approved video or entertainment organizations, and all of their agents, successors, licenses and assigns the right to photograph or to otherwise reproduce, (whether by film, tape, still photography, or otherwise) my voice, appearance and name, and to exhibit, distribute, transmit and/or otherwise exploit any and all such reproductions containing my voice and/or appearance in any and all media, including without limitation, by means of still photography, motion pictures, radio, television, television motion pictures, video, printing, internet or any other medium now known or hereafter devised, including also with respect to any merchandising, advertising and/or publicity, and the rights to use my name and information about me in any connection with any of the aforementioned media.
