Everyone who joins this group is committed to their current goals and is ready to take a new step once they achieve them. They are ready to help others in achieving their goals in any way possible. Motivation and hard work are the keys to transforming our bodies into what we want them to be.
1. What is your BodyGroup about and who are the members?
0 Days Wasted is dedicated to constantly working to improve ourselves and to motivate as well as be motivated. It's about the cycle of achieving the goals we set for ourselves and then setting new ones to achieve. Never being satisfied is the mentality of our members and that is how we succeed. The goals of our members vary in many different ways, but the one thing we have in common is we all follow the same simple guideline: Never be satisfied and never waste a day.
2. Why did you start up the group?
The group was founded off of a few different factors. A BodyGroup is a great way for many people to all shares what they know to help others get to where they want to be in their fitness life. Another main factor is motivation. Everyone has access to see the other members' statistics to see how their progress is going as well as giving them some feedback. A simple one sentence message to someone can do wonders to help their motivation.
3. What have your results been with starting the group?
I feel like it has been a great success in increasing everyone's motive and also expanding our knowledge about not only our specific goals, but also the goals of everyone in the group.
4. How do your members use the BodyGroup feature?
The great thing about the members of our group is that none of us are afraid to ask questions. The forums are usually where people ask their specific questions. The comments on the main page are usually a fellow member telling us how his/her workout went or just asking the group how everyone's training has been.
5. Name some of your notable members.
BeastMode2 is a fairly new member who really stands out. He is very good about updating his stats and keeping in touch. The main thing I like about him is he is always looking for someone to exchange motivation with.
Alexa933 is a woman who never even thinks about wasting a day! She had an unfortunate car accident but that didn't stop her. She works everyday by stretching; doing physical therapy, and getting proper rest so that she can "fully recover and build an even stronger body."
Unashamed7 has something posted on his site that really stands out to me. "My #1 goal in life- TO ALWAYS FIND A WAY TO IMPROVE." That is exactly what our group is about! Whether it is inside the gym or outside. He has the motivation needed to make those improvements and also motivates others. His progress is proof that he truly lives by these standards.
Brentbonifasold has made amazing progress and lives to motivate and try new things. He has transformed and has truly shown what it means to give 110% every day. He loves a challenge and when that challenge is put before him, he WILL succeed.
6. How would you explain the attitude needed in your group, to a new member?
The attitude needed for 0 Days Waisted is pretty much stated in the name itself. You must be self-disciplined and make time for a workout. Also new members should be willing to help others. The whole point of a "group" is to have unity and be a part of a team effort.
7. In what way has motivating other BodySpace users, given you the ability to push yourself to new levels?
Motivating other BodySpace users has done wonders in helping me push myself to the next level. I feel good when I help others and it in turn motivates me to push myself even farther so I can continue helping out.
8. What would you tell someone who is contemplating making a commitment to joining your group, to motivate them to make the commitment?
I would tell a possible new member that they need to have the desire to help others and better themselves every day. And as I said before, never be satisfied! If you push yourself to the limit, you find out that you can progress farther than you ever imagined!
9. How do you think the group mentality applies to your personal life and how has it helped?
The group mentality of course pertains to fitness in this situation but it can also be applied to everyday life. Once again, it's said in the name itself, don't waste a day. Whether it is exercising, playing a sport, doing your job, etc.; Make every moment count in all that you do.
10. Why join your group as opposed to other transformation groups?
I think that there are a bunch of groups out there that focus on one main goal. Sure, there is nothing wrong with that, but I feel that with 0 Days Waisted we are shown that everyone may have their own personal goals, but all of us have to have that same determined mentality in order to see them transform from goals to successes.
11. How do you feel, is the best way to motivate others within the confines of the group page?
I believe that the best way to motivate others in the group is to personally reach out to someone and give them feedback and basically just show some interest in what they are trying to do. Just simply letting someone know that you are occasionally checking in on them could give them the push they need to make sure the next time you look them up, their progress has changed for the better.
