Dec 29, 2011 9:48 PM: You're not trying to make your glutes kiss the bottom of your calves, as long as you break slightly below parallel to your knee with the crease of your hip you're going deep enough to get the full benefit of the exercise in your quads. Anything further and you're risking a pulled groin.
