This exercise is great if you want to avoid balancing a heavy bar on your shoulders. The only down side is that the amount of weight you use is limited by how much strength you have in your hands. Also be careful to keep your back straight, it's very tempting to round your shoulders which puts unnecessary strain on your lower back and can cause injury. -See Less
