Long bar or barbell bent-over rows are better choices unless you've got lower back problems or you're too lazy to learn proper form. This one also puts unnecessary stress on your rib cage with heavier weights, both making it uncomfortable and (if you have a ribcage injury) possibly dangerous. The discomfort can also lead to problems maintaining perfect form, increasing the possibility of shoulder injury at the bottom of the motion. I think this is one of the worst machines out there.-See Less
