Try to do this exercise by sitting on a edge of a flat bench and let the bar hang down directly below your hips(In line with shoulders)and between bench and legs. now bend little bit forward and shrug. don't bend your elbows when lifting the bar at all. squeeze at the top for a 3 seconds and slowly return the bar to the starting position. let the muscle to a greater stretch. use the 3sec's Up and 3Sec's Down Technic.this really isolates the traps. -See Less
