True, and sometimes trial and error can be the most lethal thing to do in the sport of Body Building. From my experience, try not to use more than 5 lbs tops (if you are experienced in weight lifting), I personally use about .5 KG only (about 1 lbs) as the rotator cuff serves stabilizing the glenohumeral joint and it is easily exposed for injury, so be careful.
Start with a very light weight, if you felt the need of increasing it, do so. Once you feel you aren't executing the exercise smoothly, and you are sort of leaning your delts forward that means the weight is heavy. Very useful exercise that many do not have a clue about and end up having shoulder injuries when trying to bench heavy. Dorian Yates also talks about it in the Blood -See Less
