  <title>New Review on Clean and Jerk</title>

    <![CDATA[     <br/>     Exercise: <a href='http://www.bodybuilding.com/exercises/detail/view/name/clean-and-jerk'>Clean and Jerk</a>     <br/>Review:  To me, this is in a 3 way tie for the best exercise, with Squats and Dead Lifts.  Builds great power, blows your heart rate through the roof, and works pretty much everything but your peck's.  Surprised traps' aren't on the list of things targeted.  I prefer the non-split stance for the third pull, (kinda like a front squat with the bar over your head) but I'm not going to the olympics either, I guess with the split stance you have more control front to back. It is only for the hardcore Olympic strength lifters. It requires far stricter form than even the infamous squat, and can easily result in injury if done even slightly incorrectly. Perform each rep slowly and keep those abs tight. If you can't reach failure in 12 reps, add some weight (dumbbell between your feet) and do 10 reps to failure. Boom!
