Ankle On The Knee Guide

Main Muscle: Glutes

  1. From a lying position, bend your knees and keep your feet on the floor.
  2. Place your ankle of one foot on your opposite knee.
  3. Grasp the thigh or knee of the bottom leg and pull both of your legs into the chest. Relax your neck and shoulders. Hold for 10-20 seconds and then switch sides.

Mar 15, 2012 5:47 PM: I weigh 122.4 this morning just doing the yard work I lost total of 6 lbs. i got 11 more to go then i'm on my way. I did walking Lunges up the steep hill

Aug 28, 2011 8:50 PM: I agree with the tip posted below Apr 21, 2011. This exercise helped me walk without pain 4 years ago and now I am back at it after hernia surgery. Ankle on the Knee builds glutes and abs to support the lower back.
