I really like this exercise; however, like any movement, but especially in cases like this, ensure that the weight is not too heavy to begin with. There's a tendency to start heavier because you should be able to lift heavier on the curl but the negative will not be controlled if the weight is too...+See More

Try it with 2 sets of hammer curls, 2 sets of concentration and 2 sets of barbell. Your biceps will cry to burst.

Brilliantly tough on the biceps; I can only do half as many Zottman curls as normal curls. The best thing is that it takes less time to get a good burn than other exercises - and boy, what a burn! The only problem I have is that it sometimes causes a bit of strain on the hands, but not enough to cause...+See More

what about doing it backwards? it almost feels better on my bicep if i switch the way my hands face to the opposite, as in palm out while up and palm in on the way down. incredible bicep workout though

After sifting though new exercises, I tried this in the gym today. I absolutely love this curl. The exercise works great with amazing burn and pump. This is absolutely in my gym bag of regular workouts for biceps! I highly recommend this to others!

I can normally do a 45 lb curl but with this the best I can manage is 35lbs. Really emphasizes the stress on the downward movement,and I can feel the burn already just after working out (this is my first time trying it).

You get a massive burn from these if you do them last (recommended) and you'll get a skin ripping pump from them. Awesome exercise if you want to change things up.

Love this one, tend to leave this exercise till the end so I can really feel the burn 3x8reps dropping down in weight quickly If I cant complete the rep and doing the negative slowly to feel maxium burn. Reccomended
