Nov 23, 2012 1:57 AM: These are just interesting and doesn't add any more than a regular bicep curl except using your forearms slightly more. Forearms can be developed with other excersises that just isolate the forearm.

Nov 10, 2012 6:24 PM: This site is excellent but the exercise database could use more info. It tells how to do the exercise but not how it affects your muscle differently than others. Does this exercise put a lot of emphasis on forearms? Or a little? Or does it work biceps in a different way?

I recommend 3-6KGg (6.6-11 lbs) weights and even if you have done biceps before drop the used weight! I used to do normal bicep...+See More

Aug 4, 2012 7:49 AM: This is a great exercise to incorporate your forearms more in your workout routine. If you have wrist problems you may need to use lighter weight then what you would use with a normal dumbbell curl.
