Feb 20, 2012 7:10 AM: My favorite exercise. Almost always use it on back day. Make sure to really contract your back muscles when you pull to your chest, hold for a second then slowly go back. No other exercise pumps my lats/traps/rear dealts/shoulders quite like this one. Surprised too, because I never see anyone else use...+See More

Jan 3, 2012 12:41 PM: Nice exercise, great stretch at the top. My problem though is I need to do less weight (ego deflater!) as to not cheat at the bottom and lean back too much.

Tip: V-Bar Pulldown

Nov 14, 2011 4:14 AM: hold the V-Bar close to your chest while keeping your chest up and back straight. Brace (as if your reacting to a punch to the stomach) your stomach muscles and hold for 3-5 sec.. Do this at the end of every set and you feel it in your arms and lats.

Tip: V-Bar Pulldown

Aug 27, 2011 8:04 PM: start by pulling a bit on the grip..lean forward abit so the grip is pulling your lats PULL not yank..... pull down at a good 2-3 count and feel the lats...bring it down for a 2 sec. hold then come back up leaning forward again as you come up...try a lowering the weight and really feel it out
