By far, my favourite back/bicep exercise. I think that it is good because it is easy to do, relatively easy to keep good form all the time, works muscles in a nice and safe way and can often be improved frequently

Wrap a towel around the dumbbell shaft or use Fat Gripz to take the bicep and shoulder muscles out of the equation. Does a fantastic job of isolating the back muscles!

I love this one. I do the one-arm row and pause at the top and then add a tricep kickback. I do a brief pause after each movement. Pull up, pause, kick back, pause, bring it forward, pause, lower arm.
I can feel it in my core too.

Since most gyms don't have heavy weights, do this without a flat bench. Doing it this way is a great core work out as well and you can't cheat like you can while using a bench and you can't use a much weight as you would using a bench. Also doing it this way lets you know if your using your Rhomboids...+See More

This is the best exercise to do at the very end of you back workout. I agree with other people on gyms not having the heavy weights to do this exercise. That's why I save this one for the very end of my back routine day. My back really gets a great pump with this exercise.

Fantastic excersise. Bad thing is that the weight goes up pretty quickly, and not many gym's have heavy dumbells.
