I like this exercise. I do it exactly like the video but always feel a semi-pull in my right bicep no matter what weight. I can usually do the first set of 10 reps no problem but half way through the 2nd set I feel it.
Any ideas??

Great isolation when done right.
Im kinda new to weight lifting so i could use some advice. I feel the burn on the top and outer parts of my pecks but is there a way to increase the usage of the lower part of my pecks? Thats the main area i want to target. I dont want a huge upper pectoral...+See More

Im kinda new to weight lifting so i could use some advice. I feel the burn on the top and outer parts of my pecks but is there a way to increase the usage of the lower part of my pecks? Thats the main area i want to target. I dont want a huge upper pectoral muscle and have the bottem sort of meld into my abs.

I prefer to do this on floor than bench, so that I won't sprain my shoulders. Get a spotter if you want to do this on bench.

Hurts my shoulders when I do it. Kinda feels like I'm doing this wrong...but still feel the squeeze at the chest. Good isolation.

Best chest exercise, bar none if your looking to grow and have a wider chest. To me I feel it isolates and shapens the outer pec, which where a lot of guys have trouble achieving. Best chest exercise, bar none if your looking to grow and have a wider chest. To me I feel it isolates and shapens the outer pec, which where a lot of guys have trouble achieving. It is hard to describe the technique since we are not all in a gym. Then I would. The only form I can tell you how to do it, is go watch pumping Iron, and go to the scene where you see Arnold doing DB flyes on a flat bench. It is very scary and so shocking how easy and unique way it is to isolate the outer pec. it is a MUST for all of you who want a wider chest.
Think about it logically. You want a wider/bigger chest, you must do chest exerices that target the part of the muscle. That chest exercsie are DB flyes-Arnold Style, whether it be on an incline, decline, or a flat bench.-See Less

its better to do this on an incline with your arms raised higher than usual to put more strain on the chest it really hits the spot if you leave this to the last exercise on your chest workout
