I think I was wrong. I have always thought that one should sway a little with the dumbbell in order to avoid back injury besides you can lift more weight if you swinging :)) The wisdom comes with the age :)

Wow! Awesome exercise! If you love pain, then you choose it. It burns the biceps. Do 4-6 sets with increase in weights. It suits me and I hope you too.

There's a slight difference between the Jaime and the male instructor demonstration... while Jaime keeps the palm of hand upward at the end of the movement, the male instructor turns them forward to the side of body like in the starting position. which one is correct?

I love this exercise for really concentrating on building my strength. Really have to load on the weight, so I prefer barbell curls.

Focus on completely locking the elbows in place and avoid swaying at the top or bottom. Perform slow reps to really feel the burn. Best to do when you're not completely spent since it requires some core stability.

Great exercise! Must be included in any arm routine. Don't jerk your back and don't "swing" the weight. We've all seen that guy at the gym - don't be him. Grab a weight that you can do without recruiting your entire body to curl. While your ego may suffer a bit, your biceps certainly won't.-See Less

For sure one of my favorites especially when I perform it as slow as possible for more tension on the biceps

Dumbell curls are one of the best bicep exercises. They should be rated higher than barbell curls and EZ-bar curls because more muscles are involved (dynamic stabilizers)than when using a solid bar.

Agreed. The best in my opinion for exploding the biceps because it promotes good form, works the forearms aswell and most importantly works both arms identically saving time while isolating the specific muscles without having to do each arm one by one. Another benefit is that you're standing straight...+See More
