How Did You Get Started?
I started training at around age 13. We had weight training in school and I had a strong desire to be the strongest. I wasn't, but I was close. After about a year or so I noticed I started getting a big vein in my arm and from there on I was hooked. Most of my close friends all trained as well and we had sort of a competition thing going with who could bench what and how many times.
What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?
Over the years I have tried many different styles of routines. Currently I train 4-5 times per week. I do not worry about strength anymore but I will train as heavy as I can within the limits I have set. Usually that means no more than 30 sec between sets and I very rarely go below 6 reps. I will on occasion but that is not the foundation of my training. I will go for reps between 8 and 12 on some movements and as high as 20 on others.

What Supplements Have Given You The Greatest Gains?
I would have to say protein is the foundation of my supplementation. I also use on a regular basis: creatine, glutamine, antioxidants, multi, joint formula. When dieting I will also use a fat burner. At times I will use tribulus and zma.
Why do you love Bodybuilding?
What I like best about bodybuilding is the competitions. I love getting cut up. There is a great feeling of accomplishment when you get on stage and you can see the improvement you made over last year. It is hard to see improvement in the gym, you always look bigger with an extra 20 pounds of fat or so on ya while wearing the extra baggy sweat shirt. I have won trophies and awards in every sport I have played in but nothing came close to winning the open lightweight in the first show I entered. Another important aspect is the camaraderie, you have a great respect for someone who dieted and trained hard to be there as you did.
What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans?
I plan on making my first appearance at Team Universe this year. I also plan on getting my pro card with the NGA.
What One Tip Would You Give Other Bodybuilders?
One tip I would give is to don't ever think you know everything. Some people blame poor showings or no progress on genetics and such. To some extent we are all limited to a degree to our own genetics but in my opinion way to many people claim to be hardgainers or on the other side they say it is impossible for them to lose that 20 or so pounds without starving themselves. I say this because I was one of them. I wasted about 17 years of training improperly and not eating and supplementing correctly. I have made more gains in the last 3 years than the previous 10 combined. I used to think it was impossible for me to have abs. I trained them, I did cardio and still no abs. Now after training and eating correctly, I have abs, even in the offseason.
Who Are Your Favorite Bodybuilders?
My favorite bodybuilders are the ones who are friendly and give some real legitimate advice.
