How Did You Get Started?
I got started after I entered a Body for Life 12 week program and after finishing I realized I could do about anything. I've always loved lifting weights and was involved in some type of aerobics class, usually kickboxing. I had decided after I could actually see my abs I would be able to diet for a competition and decided from there to enter my first Figure competition. I kicked it up on my weight training and got the help of Mike Davies for my nutrition and cardio and I went with it.
What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?

- Wednesday: Back

- Saturday: Hamstring, Glutes, and Calves
- Sunday: Off
What Nutrition Plan Has Worked Best For You?
Fitness gives me incentive to stick with healthy eating habits. I don't want to put on too much fat mass. During the off-season my goals are constantly changing and it keeps me motivated. My weight routines are always changing. Right now I'm going very heavy with low reps to put on more muscle mass and the challenge is to do it without putting on too much fat. In a couple of weeks it will change yet again as I start getting ready for my next competition. I enjoy being up on stage and I'm having so much fun with it.

Be prepared going into competition. Make sure you have everything you need in your competition bag. Practice, Practice, Practice. Whether it be your routine, your walk and your quarter turns and most of all just have fun with it.

My favorite fitness athletes are Jenny Hendershott and Lorraine Rosa. They have been an inspiration and a huge help to me when preparing for my 1st competition. Monica Brandt is another favorite.
