How Did You Get Started?
I was part of the intermission performing group at a local bodybuilding show. I was really interested in what was going on after watching a couple posing routines. I'm naturally pretty muscular and love the energy of working out.
It took me a year to get up the courage and a lot of time on the internet. Not finding any fitness competitions in my area back in 2001, I did a bodybuilding competition. From there I networked and was able to find surrounding fitness competitions. I love working out and dancing, what better to do then become a fitness competitor.
What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?
I get up at 5am, do 45 min of lifting or AB work. Go to work and then to the gym for Cardio and any remaining lifting that I would need to use their machines for. I have taken to spin class. It is a great time for me to be working out with my friends and boyfriend. I practice my routine over my lunch hour.
What Nutrition Plan Has Worked Best For You?
What Supplements Have Given You The Greatest Gains?
Venilean is my new favorite. Does Big Red gum count? I find it to me the best food supplement around. I don't like the thought of taking supplements but may look at protein shakes. I live for Cookies And Cream Muscle Milk.
Why do you love Bodybuilding?
I love to compete, perform, and I have made some of my best friends in the last couple of years with the same interests and lifestyles. I really like stoning the suits, designing the fitness outfits, working with the theme, and cutting the music. I get to make a little 2 minute play, almost. It's an amazing creative outlet.
What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans?
I'm running my first marathon in April. I'm lucky and a fellow fitness competitor and friend, Evamarie (Tree of Fitness Yoga Instructor). I plan to compete in May, June and in the fall.
What One Tip Would You Give Other Bodybuilders?
It's not about winning (but it would be nice). It's about achieving your personal best and having fun.

Who Are Your Favorite Bodybuilders?
Adela Garcia-Fredmasky: I did a personal camp with her. I left feeling so good about myself. I have a lot to learn, but life is about learning from experiences. My camp with her was a lesson of a life time.
I also have a lot of respect for my first trainer Dimitra Mihalopoulos. I was given training sessions as a gift and she taught me some good tricks to help with my routine strength moves. I can always count on her to help research any questions I might have. She was even inspired from me to start competing.
