How Did You Get Started?
I began lifting weights (bench pressing) around the age of 14 because my older brother Jonathan was benching at the time and I wanted my chest to look big like his. The next year, my Sophmore year in high school, I took a weightlifting class and learned there was much more involved than just the press. From that point on, my interest in getting more muscular became really important to me because I was a very skinny guy.
What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?
I have a small frame and a fast metabolism so I don't do cardio regularly. I normally perform 2-3 exercises with 2-3 sets per body part. My reps stay within the 6-10 range except with calves and traps - they respond better to higher reps. I like a 2 one - one off / 2 on - 2 off split for my workout days through the week. I try to keep rest time between sets around 60 to 90 seconds except with squats and deadlifts. The one program that has worked best for me is the Anabolic Burst Cycling System. I found this in one of Bill Phillip's Supplement Reviews. I think some German guy invented this system. I strongly recommmend this program for anyone with good discipline who wants to see some results.

Why do you love Bodybuilding?
In essence, it makes me feel good about myself. A good workout is a positive experience that rewards you both physically and mentally. In bodybuilding, as with all other aspects of life, there are efforts and there are results. What you put into it is what you will get out of it and there is always room for improvement. I enjoy pushing my body and mind to their limits. God has blessed me with good health and I want to acknowledge that always. Bodybuilding has always been a positive experience in life for me.
What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans?
No major plans as of now. I would like to compete at least once more in a bigger competition at a heavier weight. I dieted too much for my first one and didn't carb up soon enough. I would like to be on stage at my peak condition. I hope to get the chance to do some fitness modeling very soon. Overall though, I plan to continue to lift and to constantly pursue a condition more impressive to me than my current one.
What One Tip Would You Give Other Bodybuilders?
Make sure your interest for bodybuilding stays strong and always have a goal to keep your focus set upon. The more I learn about bodybuilding, the more my interest grows.
