How Did You Get Started?
I've always been obsessed with my body. And for me, body perfection was the girls I saw in the fitness magazines. I was dreaming of being like those girls. But I had no confidence about myself, and a very low self esteem. So one day, I decided to give it a try, I met my coach, Francine Savard, who is a goddess in the fitness field.
I started competing in November 2005 and won my first contest! So I decided to pursue my dreams and won again, and again... Now my confidence is back, and I feel strong mentally and I am totally proud of the woman I have become since I started competing.
What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?
Almost everything works with me. My body responds really fast to any training program. I have a really fast metabolism. I may have a little trouble bulking up. I am not tall but I have long muscles. So it makes it more challenging for me.
What Nutrition Plan Has Worked Best For You?
I'm on a diet all year long. But when I am depleting for a contest, that's what works best for me. I shred really fast. But I can't always be on a protein diet very long, I become really tired and exhausted!
What Supplements Have Given You The Greatest Gains?
I don't really take any supplements that help me gain muscles.
Why Do You Love Fitness?
I love everything that fitness involves. The training, the diet, the contest prep, the stage... It demands a lot of discipline and motivation and it's a big challenge for me. I am passionate person, I can't live without adrenaline and my life has been so excited since I started fitness; it's so rewarding and I just love it!
What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans?
I want to make it to the top. I don't how, I don't know when, but I know I will... The sky is the limit!
What One Tip Would You Give Other Fitness Competitors?
If you decide to compete for the first time, make sure you're surrounded by professional trainers. There are so many things you need to know while preparing for a contest. You need to have experienced people around you to tell you what to do. People who will encourage you, motivate you, are positive and wants the best for you.
Who Are Your Favorite Fitness Competitors/Bodybuilders?
I think I would say Heather Green. I think she's beautiful, I love her personality, she looks like a simple girl, very natural... and she is Petite! Just like me!!!
