How Did You Get Started?
While stationed with the Coast Guard in Baltimore, MD I attended my first NPC show put on by Kevin Levrone. I was amazed at the physiques that I saw and got to meet and talk to IFBB pro Don Long. Soon after, the bodybuilding bug bit me. Since 1995 I have been a drug-free natural competitor.
What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?
I trained pre-contest on a 2-day on/1-day off schedule split routine with 30-40 minutes of treadmill (med-high intensity). Monday-back/biceps, Tuesday-chest/triceps, Thursday-Quads, Friday-shoulders/hams, and cardio done every other day. Abs and calves were done 3 days a week.
What Nutrition Plan Has Worked Best For You?
I take in a ration of 40-45-15 off a 3750 caloric intake, based over 7 daily meals. My protein comes from chicken breast, fish, and ground lean turkey. My fiber content is roughly 15g per day and my carb sources stem from rice, oatmeal, cream of wheat, and potatoes.

Bodybuilding gives me the sense of self-fulfillment in which a person can take the human body and sculpt it like Leonardo da Vinci's "Vitruvian Man", harmonizing the relationship between parts of the body looking for perfection that would manifest itself in beauty.
