How Did You Get Started?

I started bodybuilding at 20 years old after getting hurt doing freestyle wrestling. I wrestled for several years and a lot of the guys in the gym always told me I should try bodybuilding. After I got hurt and could not wrestle anymore I decided to give bodybuilding a try. After my first show I loved being on stage and continued to do bodybuilding.

What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?

I like to do a five day split. I do chest and abs on Mondays; Tuesdays I do biceps and triceps; Wednesdays I do back and abs; Thursdays I do shoulders and abs; for Fridays I do legs.

Failure - That point in an exercise at which you have so fully fatigued your working muscles that they can no longer complete an additional repetition of a movement with strict biomechanics. You should always take your post-warm-up sets at least to the point of momentary muscular failure, and frequently past that point.
Superset - Two exercises are performed consecutively without any rest.
Drop Sets - Also known as strip sets, drop sets involve the immediate reduction of weight between sets with no rest. This will thoroughly burn out a muscle.

Day 1 - Chest/Abs:

Day 2 - Arms:

Day 3 - Back/Abs:

Day 4 - Shoulder/Abs:

Day 5 - Legs:

Day 6 And 7 - Rest:

What Supplements Have Given You The Greatest Gains?

I have noticed the best gains with my pre-workout Nucare Nitric Blast and Nucare whey protein.

Why do you love Bodybuilding?

I love the challenge of the diet and all the hard work in the gym. Being up on stage has to be one of the greatest feelings in the world. It doesn't matter if you win the show, because it's just the idea of getting in better shape each and every time you do another show. A lot of people lift weights but being able to do the diet and put the hard hours in and getting up on stage makes you a bodybuilder.

What Motivates You To Follow A Healthy Lifestyle?

I am a personal trainer, and I see all the problems that come with bad diets and no exercise every day. I don't want to end up later in life having to spend my days in a doctor's office and being sick all the time.

What Made You Want To Achieve Your Goals?

When I was younger I was the smallest guy growing up and always the last guy picked at every sport. I wanted to prove that anyone can achieve something if they work their butt off for it.

What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans?

I would like to finally win a novice overall title and start trying to win a state championship.

What One Tip Would You Give Other Bodybuilders?

One tip I would like to give other fitness competitors is that reaching your bodybuilding or fitness goals takes time - lots and lots of years of hard work. It's not an overnight thing; you work for everything.

Who Are Your Favorite Bodybuilders?

Lee Priest, Chris Cook, Flex Wheeler.
