How Did You Get Started?
Almost ten years ago I played basketball in college and after my last year I transferred my energy from basketball to lifting weights. I definitely loved the results, energy, & strength you gained from weight training. I always wanted to compete but it wasn't until the last couple of years where I felt my life was balanced enough to be able to put the time & energy into competing and now I am hooked!
I look forward to each year, seeing how I can change and better my physique and my routines and I also have a wonderful husband who understand this crazy fitness world and supports and pushes me to do my best.

What Nutrition Plan Has Worked Best For You?
During my last competition, I had about 7-8 meals depending on how late I was up - consisted of high protein and low carbs, all carbs were finished by 4:00 and I consumed 1 - 2 gallons of water daily.
What Supplements Have Given You The Greatest Gains?
To be honest I do not use a lot of supplements, but I am a big promoter of Optimum 100% Whey Protein Powder in Cookies-n-cream and Tropical Punch.
Why do you love Bodybuilding?
I love fitness because it is about feeling good and staying in shape mentally, physically, and emotionally. Fitness is a way of life, so what you put into it is what you will get out of it!
What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans?
I am done competing in 2006, I want to enjoy the rest of the year with my husband and watch him compete at Junior Nationals on June 17, 2006. After summer I will began to prepare for next year and competing at 2007 Junior USA's and 2007 Junior Nationals.
What One Tip Would You Give Other Bodybuilders?
Drink lots and lots of water and know and listen to your body!
Who Are Your Favorite Bodybuilders?
Over and above, Jen Hendershott, she assisted me with my diet and was always there for any question or concerns I had. She is a great & genuine person and definitely a awesome competitor. She has given me great motivation to continue and pursue my dream to eventually reach her level and entertain and educate as much as she has.
