How Did You Get Started?
In college I began to run everyday and eat healthy. I loved the way it made me feel and it was a true feeling of freedom and release for me. As I continued college, I met my now husband Tim, where I worked at Bally Total Fitness. Tim was doing a bodybuilding show and seeing him get to that kind of level with his body really inspired me and drove me to push myself to the next level.
I started to lift in 2007 and in 2008 began to work with Frank Budelewski who had a great wealth of knowledge and also was a great supporter as well. He lit the fire in me to compete and also to have confidence in myself. I trained for the 2009 NPC Mr. Ms. Buffalo and placed first in my height class and the following week also placed first and won my pro card in the NGA Can/am. This has truly been my new passion.

- Friday - Shoulders/Traps/Abs
- Saturday - Biceps/Triceps/Calves

For cardio, I will walk on the treadmill or stair stepper 35-45 minutes 5 times a week.
What Nutrition Plan Has Worked Best For You?
Every Sunday I have a cheat meal or sometimes just eat what I crave throughout the day.
What Supplements Have Given You The Greatest Gains?
Why do you love Bodybuilding?
I love the way it makes me feel and of course look. It has given me back confidence and self-esteem. It is an endless goal with endless opportunities and possibilities that anyone can achieve! I love inspiring and being inspired by others. I just love living a healthy lifestyle and passing the knowledge on to others as well as my future children!
What Motivates You To Follow A Healthy Lifestyle?
Again, the way it makes me feel and look. Being healthy is so important to me and my family. Also, seeing others on this site as well as all the pros! I love to learn new ways to workout or new healthy meals to cook.
Before I started competing I never thought I was overweight, but looking at my starting pictures said it all. I vowed to myself to never get back there again. Eating clean and healthy is no longer a "diet" to me, it is a lifestyle that I love. People always ask, "why do you eat those foods? How can you constantly eat so healthy?" I just tell them that it is what I love and that it is my lifestyle.
What Made You Want To Achieve Your Goals?
It was a personal goal for me to see how far I could take my body. I was overweight and swore I would never get back to where I was. Competing and staying fit is such an addiction to me! To push myself to that last rep is such a challenge and so fun. It is great to see your body change, which drives me in the gym to have a good workout and to keep staying fit.
What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans?
I am doing a Fall pro show in Toronto IDFA. I am going to shoot for the Jr. Nationals next year as well! Meeting and inspiring new people always! I want to some day get to the national level.
What One Tip Would You Give Other Bodybuilders?
Stay consistent! I am sure you have heard that a number of times but is so true! Also, find someone or something that drives you. It will help you shoot for your goal and stay focused in anything you want to do!

I am on Bodybuilding.com everyday. I love finding women who are in the process of competing or just coming off their competition run. I love seeing their before and after pictures which inspires me everyday. Women who post their training videos have helped as well to find new ways to work abs.
