How Did You Get Started?
I entered this sport in 2003. I had just broken out of a complicated long term relationship. My self-confidence was broken to pieces, due to this and years of bad eating habits, and basically no exercise, had made me put on as much as 257 lbs!
These two factors encouraged me to start my bodybuilding career. I exercised on my own, observed the other experienced bodybuilders at my local gym, and learned about nutrition through books, and magazines. In 2005 I went to watch a friend of mine compete at his first amateur competition, his appearance onstage was a true revelation to me.
The goal, and longing desire of managing the same achievements made me double up my efforts for the upcoming years, June 2007 my goal was set for the upcoming National Championships. Stubbornness and severe willpower where the main contributing factors that drove me to shape for the Nationals

Why do you love Bodybuilding?
During the past years I've been more and more focused on living a healthy lifestyle, sculpting and shaping my own body has also raised my self-confidence making me feel better about myself, both mentally, and physically. I hunger for knowledge, and can't think of any other sports which let you discover more about your inner and outer self than bodybuilding
What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans?
As one of my tattoos symbolizes "To be all I can be." Bodybuilding has become my lifestyle, and I compete to pull out the best in me, if I compete and place out as fourth, or fifth I don't feel unrewarded as long as I have the sense of feeling that I did my best at 110% during the season.
My main upcoming goal is to focus on my muscular weaknesses, and bulk myself up a bit in order for me to compete at in a higher class
What One Tip Would You Give Other Bodybuilders?
Have patience! This is a time demanding sport, stay on track and take one step at the time, there are no shortcuts in this sport. Don't be afraid to experiment with different exercises if your development comes to a sudden halt.
And always remember that what works out for one bodybuilder don't necessarily work out for you "Try and fail." Main rule number one: "Willpower is the key to success!" Main rule number two: "For those who seek perfection there can be no rest on this side of the grave."
