How Did You Get Started?
Several friends have trained and competed. I made a decision Feb. 1st 2007 to compete at the Evergreen State Competition Sept 22, 2007. I did this more for a story than anything else. I am a sales trainer and wanted to have a story. If you make a decision and stick to it you can accomplish anything. When I made the decision I was 230 pounds. I told everybody I knew I was going to compete and win the middleweight division in Wenatchee. At that point I had no choice but to train hard and train to win.
What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?
2-a-days. Cardio in the morning and lifting and cardio at night. I was told by my good friend Michael Dugan, Mr. Alaska 1997 and 1998, said conditioning is the key.
What Nutrition Plan Has Worked Best For You?
High protein, moderate carbs. I do this until about a month out and then start carb cycling.

When you set a goal and work hard you will see tremendous results. Plus in many ways it will motivate the people around you to do more and be more.

I'm still deciding which show I would like to compete in next, however I will always maintain the lifestyle.
What One Tip Would You Give Other Bodybuilders?
Make a decision and stick by it. No matter what obstacles come into your life. There are no reasonable excuses. Many people start but not many people finish. Be a finisher!!!
