How Did You Get Started?
20 years ago I was unhappy and out of shape. My friends and family called me "skinny". Hearing that always made me feel quite inadequate.
Many times throughout the last 20 years I tried and failed to get back into shape and gain weight. I felt it was a hopeless cause and began to doubt that I could achieve the body of my dreams.
One day I stumbled across the MuscleTech Transformation contest presented by BodySpace. The urge to try again to reach my goal was reignited! I wanted and craved a change that would last a lifetime. I thought that this might be just what I needed to get a fresh start.
Once I started the transformation, it seemed easier than any other attempt I'd made before. My head was finally in the game. I had the right weight lifting techniques down and I also had the right supplements to give me the extra pump that was missing for all those years.

Why do you love Bodybuilding?
I enjoy feeling healthy and strong. It makes me feel good about myself to be able to help others obtain their goals. It boosts my self confidence to set an example for others who are trying to change their lifestyle. I know that it does not matter what age you are-you can reach your goals if you set them and stick to them.
I live by the saying that if you fail to plan, you plan to fail. There are no goals or dreams that are out of reach-only those that we don't go after.
What Motivates You To Follow A Healthy Lifestyle?
I want to continue to be strong and healthy so that I can live a long life. I want to look good, not only to myself, but to others as well.

I didn't want to be called "skinny" anymore. I wanted to look and feel healthy.
What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans?
I am 42 years old and I am in the best shape of my life! I am so happy with what I have accomplished, and I owe it to MuscleTech! Their great products helped me achieve my dream body! I now walk proudly with my shirt off and I do not worry about anyone calling me skinny.
I am now an inspiration to others to help them achieve their own goals. This challenge not only changed me physically, but it also renewed my mind and spirit! I modeled for many years. Now I want to build more muscle and get back into fitness modeling.
What One Tip Would You Give Other Bodybuilders?
Never give up. Never say it can't be done. And always try new and different products because you never know when you'll find the perfect one for you. And remember, it's not the chances you take it is the choices you make that determine your destiny!!
