Why do you love Bodybuilding?

I love fitness because of the way it makes me feel. All of the hard work and dedication you put in and then meeting your overall goal is such unbelievable feeling. I love challenging myself each and every day. It's very empowering knowing that you have control of your own destiny. Also, I love inspiring others to work hard and showing them that anything is possible!

What Motivates You To Follow A Healthy Lifestyle?

I think my biggest motivation is that I want to live a long and healthy life. And by that I mean I would love to live to be 100, but I want to enjoy all of those 100 years. I still want to be able to take care of myself and live an exciting life no matter what my age is. Also, another thing that motivates me is using my success to motivate others.

I get a lot of feedback from people telling me I motivated them to start competing, start a new diet or working out and it definitely fuels my fire. Knowing that the choices I make and the dedication I put into this sport inspires others is what keeps me going!

What Made You Want To Achieve Your Goals?

I have always been a very competitive person and had been a competitive athlete since I was old enough to play organized sports. After college, all of that ended for me so abruptly. There was a void in my life that I needed to fill and competing in fitness was just that! Being able to ignite my competitive drive again really made me want to take it to the next level with my fitness goals.

What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans?

In 2012, I plan to compete nationally and my goal is to get my pro card! I would also like to network and increase my exposure in this industry. I would love to become a sponsored athlete and break into the world of fitness modeling. I have set high goals, but I believe with a lot of hard work and determination, the sky is the limit for me!

What One Tip Would You Give Other Bodybuilders?

2 things: Don't EVER use the word can't! It takes strong will to push yourself past your limits to find your new limit! Never stop pushing! The other would be to never underestimate the power of a good diet! I have seen too many people put in hours at the gym, but without correct nutrition you will never see the results!
