How Did You Get Started?
I was introduced to bodybuilding my high school gym teacher Coach Kammert at Thornton Township High School. At the time I was running track and cross-country. He told me that I had good body features that I could develop and maybe compete in bodybuilding. My freshman year of college a friend asked me to do the Mr. and Mrs. SIUC bodybuilding show with him. I competed and won the short class but lost in the overall round.

What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?
Sample Training Week:
abs and cardio
Tuesday: Legs, abs and cardio
Wednesday: Triceps, forearms, abs cardio
Thursday: Legs, abs and cardio
Friday: Shoulders, back, abs and cardio
The reason my days are consistent is because of my busy school schedule and working two jobs.
What Nutrition Plan Has Worked Best For You?
My diet is complicated so I'll just say this: My carb/sodium/protein/fat/sat. fat/sugar/potassium/water intake fluctuates depending upon the date of my competitions.
What Supplements Have Given You The Greatest Gains?
Why do you love Bodybuilding?
I am a natural athlete. I have played football, basketball, soccer, track and cross-country. I was the captain of each one and lettered. I love to compete against others that put the time and dedication into this. I love winning knowing that I made my gains the honest way with dedication, motivation, hard work, constant training, support, love and thanking in Jesus. I have a quote that I tell everyone that ask me why I body build? I say "Because bodybuilding is my lifestyle. It's not a hobby." Anyone who takes bodybuilding seriously will understand that life changes come along with this sport and it becomes your lifestyle.
What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans?
I plan on competing in a few OCB/NPC and Junior Nationals within the next year or two. I may not have as much success at Junior Nationals that I have had in the past but I learn my faults from my losses and improve upon them. I can accept a third or fourth place in my class for knowledge and insight to make improvements because there is always next year.
What One Tip Would You Give Other Bodybuilders?
For anyone just starting out I would say to take it slow and make your gains that are permanent. Honor this sport by competing the correct way and not taking short cuts. Also, read books, watch competitions, rent movies, and emulate not imitate your favorite bodybuilder. Make each pose your own.
