How Did You Get Started?
I started lifting because I got tired of being a little guy. I was 5'5" 120 when I started. After years of lifting and decent results I met my trainer Jack Oehlers. He taught me how to eat to grow and keep the exercises on the intended muscle. He tried to talk me into doing shows, but I thought it wasn't for me.
However, a guy that I started training with, John Quint, talked me into doing the Francois Classic with him. I dropped to 154 from 190 to compete as a lightweight. We did 2 warm-up shows and I ended up winning my weight class at the Francois. The rush I got from being on stage got me hooked. From then on Bodybuilding has been a priority.
What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?
I like a 5 day split:
Each muscle gets about 12-20 sets. And I like to stay between 8-15 reps to get better contractions.
The exercises I do change frequently. The exercises are not as important as the way they are performed. Every exercise I do is done in a strict manner with techniques to further isolate the desired muscle. This allows me to do the movements using only the muscle I'm working that day. The pumps are painful when the reps are done correctly.

Meal 1: Pre-Workout

What Supplements Have Given You The Greatest Gains?
I think that supplementation is overrated and nutrition is underrated. Don't get me wrong there are a lot of good supplements but without proper nutrition they will not impact your physique. If your nutrition is right I would recommend: a good multi, NO product pre workout, BCAAs during workout, and creatine and waxy maize post workout.
Why do you love Bodybuilding?
The feeling of looking in the mirror when your in show condition, the competitive aspect of having a better physique than others, and the ability to improve weaknesses and perfect your shape.

What One Tip Would You Give Other Bodybuilders?
Work the muscle, don't just do reps. Use reasonable weight for strict reps; don't just train your ego.
