How Did You Get Started?

I grew up with "bad body image" issues. I decided to get healthy and once I attained the body I wanted, I wanted a new challenge. When I found fitness competitions; I found a place where I could challenge myself mentally and physically... It felt like home!

What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?

I do cardio 6-7 days a week for 45 minutes on the Stair Mill.

I lift 5 days a week focusing on 2-3 body parts at a time. I always do 3 sets of 12-15 repetitions. I don't try to max out on anything; I try to keep the weight in a range that allows me to stay in that rep range.

I am definitely shooting for power, but muscular endurance is a huge factor in my sport.

What Nutrition Plan Has Worked Best For You?

I eat a very low sugar diet. I focus on getting my carbs from very high fiber foods, and I live off greens! I love veggies and salads! I eat about 120 grams of protein a day and divide that up across the day. I eat every 3 hours, 5-6 times a day.

What Supplements Have Given You The Greatest Gains?

I would say that glutamine has played a large role in allowing me to achieve better results. It enables better recovery for me, so I can push myself harder.

Why do you love Bodybuilding?

It keeps me focused and gives me time to focus on myself and my goals. "We are nothing to others if we are not good to ourselves"

I really hope to start a fitness program here in Rhode Island. I'd like to offer competition training for fitness, figure, obstacle courses, and bodybuilding. It is a huge goal, but that has never stopped me before. Look for details on

What One Tip Would You Give Other Bodybuilders?

Don't consider the way that you eat a diet. Eating healthy should be a lifestyle, and not something you do for 3 months to get on a stage. Your body is your temple... Treat it that way!

Who Are Your Favorite Bodybuilders?

Kelly Ryan because she has the most incredible routines on the planet! She also keeps making improvements on her body and never stops fighting to finish at her best.

Monica Brant because she has the best physique in the business and she is a very sweet and genuinely nice woman on and off the stage.
