How Did You Get Started?
I started working out when I was 15 in my basement. At age 16 I joined a Powerhouse Gym where there were pro and national level bodybuilders that trained. They saw I had potential and I watched them and learned the right way to train and eat. I saw quick results and was hooked. I was a short fat kid with glasses and was able to transform my body quickly.
What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?
I train 5 on and 2 off usually. Here is a sample of a basic week of training:

Day 2: Hamstrings and Abs
Day 3: Chest and Biceps
Day 4: Back, Traps, and Abs
Day 5: Quads and Calves
I do 4-5 sessions of cardio a week of 30-40 minutes. Even in the off-season. As you can see I do legs twice a week, splitting quads and hams. I feel this has really helped make my legs grow. My reps range from 10-30 reps per set. Also I do a lot of supersets and drop sets to shock my body into changing.
What Nutrition Plan Has Worked Best For You?
I usually follow a high protein/lower carb/lower fat diet but just recently switched to a high protein/high essential fat/very low carb diet. I feel it helped me get leaner and I was able to have a 1/2 cheat day once a week. This enabled me to get into the best shape of my life. I also have put a lot of my competing clients on this type of diet and has worked great for them as well.
What Supplements Have Given You The Greatest Gains?
Why do you love Bodybuilding?
It keeps me in shape and challenges me to get better. You are a one man team and if you don't put your heart and soul into it you won't get the desired results you are looking for. Also it helps me look the part for my training and nutrition business.
What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans?
I hope to compete nationally and do well. I love the sport but I'm still learning as I go.
What One Tip Would You Give Other Bodybuilders?
Hang in there and be persistent! Gains diminish as you go on in this sport. You need to shock your body into growing. Don't be afraid to try new things. Nobody knows it all so keep learning and working towards your ultimate goal.
Who Are Your Favorite Bodybuilders?
I have a few. Back in the day Dennis Newman really inspired me. Some others are, of course, Ronnie Coleman and Dorian Yates.
