How Did You Get Started?
Well, like most people, I spent a lot of time in the gym pumping iron; putting on muscle and thinking I really knew what I was doing. I also spent an equal amount of time in the fast food drive-thru once the workout was over. I decided one day to take the real challenge of not just being more consistent training, but to challenge myself to change my diet; not for just health reasons but to give myself the opportunity to see what my shape really looked like. From there I challenged myself to take it to the next level and step on stage to see how I would mesh up with the other competitors.

What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?
My workouts were in the beginning so basic 3-4 sets of 15-20 reps with rest periods, but my physique really changed when my trainer Charles Glass changed my workout plan: legs would be 8-10 different exercises of 40-50 reps (that was if he was being nice); upper body would be 4-5 different exercises per body part of 30-40 reps. I found that my physique responded really well to circuit training; nonstop with plenty of reps.
What Nutrition Plan Has Worked Best For You?
My physique responds quickly to carbohydrates so when I take in to many I definitely see it on the scale. To keep that from happening I have to be really careful in keeping my diet very low in carbohydrates and sugar; usually I start my mornings with a carb meal of either 1/4cup quits or cream of rice along with a protein. The rest of the day I eat 4-5oz steak, fish or chicken and a salad or vegetables. Usually I don't measure the vegetables to carefully; I just eat as much as I want.
What Supplements Have Given You The Greatest Gains?
Why do you love Bodybuilding?
One of the biggest reason's for me that I have such a love for fitness, is because unlike being great singer or dancer or having a rich uncle (just a few things some of us will never have or be able to do); fitness allows each and everyone of us to set goals for ourselves which really when you think about it are attainable. It just becomes very dependant on the dedication and determination a person has within themselves. Now I'm not saying we can pick up a fitness magazine and point to a body and become that next week, but we can definitely choose to live healthier and take the initiative to set foot in the gym and, like the Nike slogan, "JUST DO IT."
What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans?
Right now the competing season for NPC figure is finished, so I am training hard and setting my sights on stepping on stage in April 2008 at the Jr. USA's in South Carolina.
