How Did You Get Started?

I became interested in figure when I went to a local bodybuilding show. I admired everyone so much! Right then I knew I had to give it a try and now I am addicted!!!

What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?

I lift 5 days a week and do sprints two days a week. I only do cardio during contest prep. By only doing it during this time, I can cut down body fat quickly.

  • Day 1: Quads
  • Day 2: Back and Chest
  • Day 3: Shoulders
  • Day 4: Hamstrings
  • Day 5: Arms

What Nutrition Plan Has Worked Best For You?

I eat about 6 to 7 small meals a day. This is what my contest diet looks like:

  • Meal 1: 6 egg whites and ½ cup oatmeal with Splenda
  • Meal 2: Shake, either Meso-Tech or Nitro-Tech
  • Meal 3: Chicken breast, sweet potato, and broccoli
  • Meal 4: Shake, same as meal #2
  • Meal 5: Tilapia or cod with a green vegetable
  • Meal 6: Shake, Nitro-Tech
  • Meal 7: 6 egg whites
During my off-season I add in more carbs, such as an extra sweet potato or brown rice. I also love ice cream and anything chocolate as a treat!!!

What Supplements Have Given You The Greatest Gains?

My number one supplement is without a doubt is Glutamine. I feel it has really helped me to improve my physique. Another one of my favorites is Diet-Tech. Diet-Tech really helped me stop my hunger cravings and reach my goals.

Why do you love Bodybuilding?

I love fitness for so many reasons! Through it you learn so much about yourself and it teaches you discipline and self-control. It is also an honor when others recognize your hard work and want to be like you.

What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans?

My future plans include doing each and every national show starting next spring. I am currently training hard in order to achieve more overall lean mass. I want to bring my best physique to the stage. I can hardly wait!!! I know the competition is going to be hard but just being there to me is an honor. My other fitness plans include completing my degree in kineisiology and to help other girls reach their fitness goals.

What One Tip Would You Give Other Bodybuilders?

Never give up because anything is possible! A few years ago I never thought of doing anything like this, I just admired all the girls in the fitness magazines and on stage. Another big tip would be to choose your suit carefully and make sure it fits! I learned this lesson the hard way at my first show. Lets just say thank goodness the other girls were nice and helped my spray Elmers spray adhesive to hold the thing up!!!

Who Are Your Favorite Bodybuilders?

I love Elaine Goodlad and Mari Kudla. They are both so nice, beautiful, and very helpful in answering questions. As for bodybuilders I like them all but I have to say that Gunter is my favorite!
