How Did You Get Started?

I really got serious 7 years ago at the age of 34 (it's never too late). At that time my main adjective was to lose weight. I had a waistline around 36.5 in. - not a comfortable feeling. I went to a fitness center and chose to use a personal trainer.

I trained six month with my personal trainer, he got my waistline down to 32 inches, plus I had some muscle definition. I was thinking that I just reinvented myself in six month. If I apply more time to this what would happen? There is one key ingredient and that is consistency... I live by that.

I also read fitness magazines, utilize Bodybuilding.com to the fullest, and I had a friend that was already competing at a pro level that was giving me advice. Now today I have won two overall shows and have the desire to do more. For me this is a way of life.

It will never take a day, but it will take some time to achieve your physical goals… never give up. Now I would like to give thanks to all my friend at LA Fitness (Andorra) and World Gyms (NE Philly) for all of their support.

What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?

I perform Full Body Workout for 3 days per week rotating it with cardio or rest days. I change up exercise every session.

I like to keep it simple when I'm in a cutting phase. This work for my body type:

I eat every 3 hours and I also consume at least 1 gallon of water per day.

What Supplements Have Given You The Greatest Gains?

Why do you love Bodybuilding?

The reason why I love it... it makes me feel good on the inside. Not everyone can do it to this extreme. To do bodybuilding you have to love it. You are committing a lot of time and effort towards an ultimate goal. I also love the reaction I get from people on the streets... it gives me the feeling of being different. This is not what I do... this is what I love to do; I have a deep passion for this sport.

What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans?

I plan on making my round in the NABBA and then I will move on to another sanction to try to gain a pro card.

What One Tip Would You Give Other Bodybuilders?

Lift Smart - Lift with good form and adequate amount of weight.

Be True To Yourself - If you are lacking in an area work on it instead of your favorite body part... like arms.

Stay Humble - Leave your attitude at the door.
