How Did You Get Started?
I was 267 lbs just before my 40th birthday & I didn't like the fact that I couldn't breathe when I tied my shoes. So I joined a Bally's to shed the weight & the GM kept insisting that I compete because I have the genetics to do well. I did my first show in Oct of '04 and came home with 3 second place finishes (Masters, Open, Novice)! I've been hooked ever since.

What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?
I followed a schedule that was heavy one week & medium the next but very little rest in-between. This schedule was given to me by nutritionist Dr. Joe Klemczewski (www.thedietdoc.com). I would rotate that schedule, and it has worked out well. I believe it has brought out the separation in my legs tremendously. I'm currently looking over Dorian Yates training methods since I have 5 months or more to put on some quality mass without the fat. I truly enjoy the heavy, high intensity training and I'm seeing good results from it.
What Nutrition Plan Has Worked Best For You?
What Supplements Have Given You The Greatest Gains?
IGF-1. It has worked wonders for me, especially with the heavy, high intensity workouts. I accompanied it with a "Lean-Gainer" stack by Steelforce. The combination brought to my best ever during my last show in May.
Why do you love Bodybuilding?
Bodybuilding challenges you as an individual to become your best. My personal achievements are based on how well I prepared for each show & am I better than I was the last time. Although I have a workout partner, I don't actually need one because my goal is to turn pro; and in order to do that, you must be focused at all times (in & out of the gym). The only who can stop me from achieving my goals is "ME"! THAT WILL NOT HAPPEN!
What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans?
I've been blessed as of May 31, 2006 to be sponsored by Steelforce Bodybuilding & Fitness. I am their 1st sponsored bodybuilder and I'm so excited that someone can see my potential and take me under their wings. I'll be bulking up for the next 5 to 6 months; and then I'll do a National Qualifying show at the end of October or beginning of November 2006. The goal is to compete at the higher level to see where I stack up amongst the rest.
What One Tip Would You Give Other Bodybuilders?
Believe in your dreams, write down your goals & believe in yourself! Be honest about your weaknesses because they will become your strengths. And most important: KEEP GOD 1ST in all things.

Melvin Anthony (love his posing & v-taper), Lee Labrada, Dexter Jackson, Lee Haney, Dorian Yates, Vince Taylor (49 yrs old, so I know even with my late start in my career, I have at least 7 more years to reach pro status).
