How Did You Get Started?

I started in 1998 when approached in my gym by two good friends, one of whom I still train with today all these years later. Stephen Stewart known to most as 'big hippy'. They talked me into doing the NABBA Northern Ireland show. I did the fitness and the figure that year and luckily won both.

What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?

2004 to May 2005 I was looked after by a company called 'GB fitness'. The director Cain Leathem did all my training programs and contest prep. It consisted of a four day split, with a day of intense gymnastic training with the Romanian coach, Christie! And of course plenty of power walking (with Cain checking that I was out there... even in the rain!).

What Nutrition Plan Has Worked Best For You?

My nutrition all last year was also down to GB Fitness... Cain is ex-forces and got me to sign the official secrets act (he! He!) But it was varied according to how I was coming in and with so many comps it was fine tuned to peak time and time again! He is very holistic and works to make me feel as good as I look.

Everything is planned, assessed and adjusted accordingly. No sugars, plenty of quality protein, a good intake of essential fats from food as well as supplements, carbs reduce down (always unrefined) and fibrous increase, water and carb up and then the water drop is an art form that still surprises me with the amazing last minute peaking process...

What Supplements Have Given You The Greatest Gains?

Recently Maxi Muscle Mass Gain!! I have put on 8 pounds with the help of a mix of egg whites from egg nation!! And a vital drop of Udos Essential Fats blend of oils in every shake.

Why do you love Bodybuilding?

As an ex gymnast this is my true and natural field to be in. My father and my mother are and were gymnastic coaches. My father is currently a Brevit international judge too. So I stand in good stead for the fitness section being able to do all the back flips and summersaults etc.

What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans?

I intend to do the NABBA worlds in Ireland in June and at present I am aiming to get my figure up to scratch in the hope that someday soon I will qualify in an IFBB show to aim for my pro card.

What One Tip Would You Give Other Bodybuilders?

Work hard at it! Do what you have to do and do it 100 percent. You get out what effort you put in. Train with the best! The team advising and coaching, you have to trust and they you... and a friend or two comes in handy on those hard days (I had both in one!

Who Are Your Favorite Bodybuilders?

Kelly Ryan and Jenny Hendershott whom I keep in contact with often. I hope to help Jenny Hendershott in the year 2007 with one of her infamous phat camps here in the UK... I look forward to it!!!
