She has appeared on CNN, "Good Morning America," the "Today" show, and "The Dr. Oz Show," and is also a regular guest on local shows "News10" and "Good Day Sacramento." She is a former Miss Philippines USA, Miss Bikini California, and Miss Petite Teen International. She has appeared on the cover of Sacramento Parent, Shape, and Max Sports and Fitness, and has been featured in Sactown Magazine. Maria lives in Elk Grove, California, with her husband and three sons.
