Ginger Redeker

Background

I am originally from Olpe, a small town in southeastern Kansas. I grew up with a love and passion for riding horses and am basically a tomboy at heart. After high school, I moved to Findlay Ohio to attend the University of Findlay. There I pursued a degree in Equestrian Studies and Business Management. I have always been physically active and played sports as an adolescent, rode horses, and ran track in high school. I started weight training when I was nineteen to help me become a better equestrian rider and I got hooked.

I relocated to Columbus, Ohio to train with my trainer and good friend Mike Davies and to focus on competing in figure. Currently I am personal training at World Gym in Columbus, Ohio, I also work part time at a chiropractic/sports medicine office and am presently training and working towards an IFBB pro card in Figure.

Along with weight training and riding horses, I love to cook! At a young age, I was influenced by my mother, grandmothers, and great grandmother's love for homemade cooking. Their influence helped me to educate and format my own cooking skills which in turn spawned my interest in cooking, baking and experimenting with recipes.

I mix my love of fitness and personal usage of lower calorie foods with bold taste to help me to maintain my own strict competition diet and to create healthy alternative recipes for the athlete and the health conscious persons. My recipes have been developed from literally spending hundred of hours cooking, pouring over cookbooks, researching ingredients and experimenting in the kitchen to perfect my own creations and recipes to allow you to prepare great tasting, low calorie meals that are full of nutrients that will make you a champion. I am very appreciative of the opportunity to share my cooking strategies and recipes to offer you simple and amazing taste that are low to no fat and low carbohydrates and finally low calorie and great tasting.
